The Fairmont Orchid, Island of Hawaii
Sugar-white sands, aquamarine waters, beautiful landscaped gardens… welcome to heavenly Hawaii. The Fairmont Orchid really makes the most of its spectacular surroundings: each of the rooms and suites feature private lanais (balconies), and the lush grounds are dotted with pools and cabanas. In true local style, little ones are doted upon: after being presented with leis (garlands) on arrival, they can let off steam at The Keiki Aloha Kids’’ club while you recharge your batteries at the gorgeous Spa Without Walls. The award-winning Hawaii Golf Course sits directly next to the resort, so you can practice your swing whenever you wish. Our experts recommend this resort to adventure-loving families, because there’s so much to see and do. The oceanfront pool is a stunner, while the beach is a white-sand wildlife haven: turtles and exotic birds can be spotted here, so keep an eye out while you relax on your sunlounger. Feeling active? Join the beach volleyball, try a game of tennis, or welcome the sunrise on a kayaking tour. Every day brings an unforgettable new adventure.
Fairmont Room
With the resort’s fabulous gardens just outside your door, these rooms feel blissfully secluded – but you’re within easy reach of the restaurants, bars and beach. Inside, a king size bed (or two doubles), marble bathroom, and cosy living area await.
Executive Suite
Overlooking the resort’s lush gardens and waterfalls, these luxurious lodgings feature two balconies, a master bedroom with king size bed, and a spacious bathroom with tub. You’ll love the thoughtful little extras: free Wi-Fi, artisan coffee maker, two huge wardrobes – and more.
Presidential Suite
This South Tower abode is one of the hotel’s fanciest suites – with two private bedrooms, a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, and two magnificent balconies. Up here on the sixth floor, the views are spectacular: you can gaze out over the beach, swimming pool and ocean – and feel like you’re on top of the world.

As the sun slips below the horizon, make sure you’re in Kahakai – with a tropical libation in hand. This breezy beach bar has sensational views of Mauna Kea and the Pacific: a little slice of holiday heaven, beneath a traditional Polynesian thatched roof. At dinner, you’ll find us feasting on fresh seafood and juicy steaks at Brown’s Beach House, while the Kids’ tuck into the specially-made keiki (Kids’’) menu – featuring macaroni cheese, noodle soup, marinara pasta and more.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.
LIST OF RESTAURANTS:

Every evening, the Hui Holokai Beach Ambassadors lead a procession of little ones around the resort, performing the nightly sunset torch lighting ceremony and blowing the pu (conch shell) to the four winds. And that’s just the start of the family fun. Kids’ aged five to 12 are encouraged to learn all about the islands’ heritage through activities and entertainment at the Keiki Aloha Children's Program, with its beach games, storytelling and crafts. A dedicated children’s menu, babysitting services, and interconnecting rooms are available on request too.
