Tailor-made China Holidays
The rich diversity that China presents makes it one of Asia’s most fascinating destinations. To ensure that you see as much as possible during your time in China, we suggest taking a tour that encompasses all the major areas and must-see attractions. Walk the iconic Great Wall of China, come face-to-face with a panda, and embrace the modern energy of Shanghai or the heritage of Beijing. Plus, Flight Centre can help you organise your essential China visa with a minimum of fuss, so you can relax and concentrate on getting excited about your trip.
Popular Tailor-made China Holidays
Large, world-famous and yet still somewhat mysterious, China rewards those who dare to venture beyond its typical tourist streets in its tiger cities. When it comes to planning just where to go though, things can get a little overwhelming. As a result, our Experts have created a range of China holiday itineraries called Journeys, which map out where to go, how long to spend in each destination and how to get there. All Journeys include flights, transfers, accommodation, and day trips, along with a price to give you an idea of the cost of a holiday in China.

When to Go to China
China is enormous, crossing five time zones and with a topography that includes mountains, desert and tropics. As such, it’s very difficult to summarise its climate succinctly or indeed to choose the best time to travel: it will always be high or low season somewhere. Generally speaking, the seasons of spring and autumn are ideal times to visit throughout the country, with mild temperatures and fewer crowds (although be sure to avoid travelling in May Day week when domestic travel surges). For events, the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival and Chinese New Year are highlights on the Chinese calendar, and both take place in winter.
