With just a handful of luxurious villas overlooking the ocean, this hillside resort feels exclusive, intimate – and utterly fabulous. You’ll have your very own private pool, plus two exquisite restaurants just steps away.
One-Bedroom Pool Villa
Designed to sit in perfect harmony with their surroundings, these one-bedroom boltholes feature a private pool and spectacular ocean views. The décor is paired-back yet luxurious, with a sleek chaise longue to stretch out on and lots of natural woods and stone.
Two-Bedroom Pool Villa
Set on the hillside overlooking the ocean, this villa has room for up to four guests – with two spacious bedrooms and a private infinity pool. There’s a butler on-hand to assist with everything from unpacking to restaurant reservations, plus a private cabana for secluded sunbathing.
Three-Bedroom Pool Villa
The open-plan design of this three-bedroom wonder puts the private infinity pool centre stage: you can step straight from your terrace into the water, or just relax on your deluxe sunloungers. Each villa is sound-proof, so you can crank up the surround-sound speakers to your heart’s content.

Serving traditional Indonesian fare in a sea-breezy setting, The Warung is a sublime spot for lunch and dinner. Here you can feast on slow-cooked ribs, lemongrass chicken, and fragrant curries from all over the islands. The menu is divided up into regions, so you can see where each dish originates from – and there are plenty of vegetarian options too. The restaurant also serves afternoon tea with an Asian twist, while CIRE specialises in fresh seafood and tasting menus (with wine pairings) overlooking the ocean.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Why we recommend Alila Villas Uluwatu
Welcome to the villa of your dreams: each one of these beach-view boltholes looks like it’s been plucked from the pages of an interior design magazine. Nestled in glorious gardens and overlooking the Indian Ocean, you need never set eyes on another soul – aside from your personal butler, of course, who can organise everything from room service to sundowner cocktails. You must check out the spa while you’re here: the opulent Spa Alila combines Western and Asian techniques in its massages and treatments, for sheer pampering perfection. The beach is difficult to reach, and not recommended for swimming – but who needs the waves when you’ve got a private infinity pool right on your doorstep? From high up on this limestone cliff, you can see the ocean glittering, the seabirds swooping, and utterly spectacular sunrises and sunsets. All this, and just 30 minutes’ transfer from the airport?
