Explore three of the most dynamic Indonesian Islands on a captivating 13-day adventure through Indonesia’s cultural and natural wonders. Beginning in Jakarta with a guided city tour showcasing iconic landmarks like the National Monument and Istiqlal Mosque, you will then travel by train to Yogyakarta to explore royal palaces, and ancient temples including the majestic Borobudur. After exploring the cultural heart of Java, fly to Bali and unwind in the tranquil coastal town of Candi Dasa. Continue to the idyllic island of Gili Trawangan in Lombok, where bikes replace cars and sunsets steal the show, before finishing your journey back in Bali in the vibrant town of Seminyak.

Day 1
Fly from the UK to Jakarta
Days 2-3
Jakarta
Your Indonesian adventure begins in the capital city - Jakarta. Explore the cities rich history, cultural heritage, and modern attractions, taking in the National Monument that symbolizes Indonesia’s quest for independence from its Dutch colonizers, the Istiqlal Mosque, the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, and The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, a historic century-old cathedral, symbolizing the country’s philosophy of unity in diversity. You will also visit Jakarta Old Town, to see restored colonial buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, including the Jakarta Historical Museum, which were once part of Batavia, the capital of Dutch East Indies.

Days 4-6
Yogyakarta
Travel from Jakarta to Yogyakarta by scenic rail, enjoying lunch onboard before settling into your hotel and exploring at leisure. The following day, dive into Yogyakarta’s rich heritage with visits to the Sultan’s Palace, the historic Tamansari Water Castle, and the awe-inspiring Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your final day in Yogyakarta is free to spend as you wish.

Days 7-9
Candidasa, Bali
After a leisurely morning in Yogyakarta, fly to Bali and transfer to the peaceful coastal town of Candi Dasa, where you’ll settle into your beachfront accommodation. Spend the next two days at your own pace, enjoying the area's pristine beaches, snorkelling and diving opportunities, or opt for enriching community-led experiences like cycling to the beach, Balinese cooking classes, or farming immersions—all designed to connect you with the island’s authentic charm.

Days 10-12
Gili Trawangan, Lombok
After breakfast, travel to Padang Bai Port and take a ferry to Gili Trawangan. Since motorised vehicles are banned on this island, upon arrival, you will be provided bikes to travel to your accommodation on the western part of the island that offers a breathtaking view of the sunset. Enjoy three days relaxing on the peaceful island of Gili Trawangan, exploring its beautiful beaches and natural beauty.

Day 13
Seminyak, Bali
After breakfast, travel to the ferry port and take a ferry to Bali. On reaching Bali you will be transferred to your hotel in South Bali to spend your final night in Bali at leisure.

Days 14-15
Depart Bali and return to the UK
