UK to Sydney
Arrive into Sydney where your big adventure begins. Explore the historic Rocks district and enjoy stunning views across the harbour to the iconic landmarks of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge – why not take a scenic harbour cruise to see the iconic landmarks from a different perspective. You can’t visit Sydney without sampling some of its famous beaches and there are plenty to choose from – head to Bondi Beach for people-watching or soak up the laid-back atmosphere of Manly. Be sure to get your bearings with our Sydney Highlights Cycle tour and enjoy the incredible scenery from the picturesque World Heritage site of the Blue Mountains on a Deluxe Day tour.

Today, catch your flight from Sydney to Uluru (Ayers Rock). The isolated and sacred Aboriginal site of Uluru is one of Australia’s icons and upon arrival you’ll be left truly breathless. Spend time enjoying the magic of this huge monolith – you could walk around the base of Uluru with an Aboriginal guide and learn about their traditions and culture. Watch as the rock seemingly changes colour, from dusky pink to fiery red and mauve – from sunrise to sundown, and marvel at the majestic Kata Tjuta rock formation – truly a sight to behold.

Today, you’ll say goodbye to the outback and fly on to Cairns – the gateway to two of Australia’s World Heritage sites: the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. You’ll be staying in the small seaside town of Port Douglas – approximately an hour’s transfer from Cairns. Relax into life in the tropics – from soaking up the sun on the sparkling Four Mile Beach to tucking into fresh seafood, enjoying the relaxed vibe of Port Douglas. Exploring the Great Barrier Reef is a must and your included Outer Barrier Reef Tour offers you the chance to get up close to an incredible array of underwater life. Whether it’s snorkelling or diving – you can experience it all on this incredible day out. With five days to enjoy Australia’s tropical north, you’ll also get the chance to discover the treasures of the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.
