When is the best time to visit New Orleans?

Summer in New Orleans can be summed up in two words – hot and wet. The rest of the year, however, is fairly mild and pleasant. The most popular (but also the most expensive) time to visit is for Mardi Gras, so if you’re travelling in February, be prepared for busy. For the majority of folk, the best time to visit New Orleans is between March and May and then again from October to November.
