Frequently asked questions

What are the most popular things to do in Sentosa Island with kids?

Any parent can attest that travelling with children can be challenging, to say the least. Sentosa makes it a breeze with loads of fun activities for the whole tribe including Universal Studios Singapore theme park, the Adventure Cove Waterpark as well as the S.E.A Aquarium.

How can you spend a day on Sentosa Island?

We’re just going to come right out and say it, one day is absolutely not enough time to fully appreciate this feat of engineering excellence and giant amusement park. If you really do only have one day, it will be a tough decision between hitting Universal Studios, the waterpark or the oceanarium.

When is the best time to visit Sentosa Island?

Sentosa enjoys a tropical rainforest climate and is therefore fairly warm all year around. Between July and November are the ideal travel seasons as the forecast is generally blue, sunny skies.

What is there to do in Sentosa Island?

It’s probably quicker to list the things you can’t do in Sentosa Island. A literal dream destination for kids of all ages, visitors can hit the waterpark, marvel at creatures of the deep at the aquarium, lay by the beach, surf man-made waves and tackle high-ropes courses. Oh, and don’t forget about Universal Studios and Madame Tussauds Singapore.

What is the best beach in Sentosa Island?

Despite the fact that Singapore has no natural sand beaches, Sentosa’s stretches of sand are just as delightful to roll out a towel. Siloso Beach is ideal for water sports and sand-based activities, plus it’s bordered by a beach promenade filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Palawan Beach is said to be the most family-friendly with calm, shallow water and last, but by no means least, is Tanjong Beach, the quietest on the island.

What to take on holiday to Sentosa Island?

Comfortable shoes are a must! A hat, rain jacket, universal power adaptor and swimwear are also Sentosa Island essentials.

Where to go on holiday in Sentosa Island?

The great thing about Sentosa Island is that it’s all pretty well accessible by foot, bicycle or by the Sentosa shuttle. That said, the hardest part will be trying to narrow it down to decide which activities you want to do.
