Overwater bungalows in the Maldives

Intimate overwater bungalows, crystal-clear lagoons and dazzlingly white sandy beaches define the idyllic archipelago of the Maldives. This nation of almost 1,200 tiny coral islands boasts some of the world’s best beaches and most luxurious hotels. Almost every resort inhabits its own private islands, guaranteeing privacy and peace. The islands are also renowned for a wealth of incredible marine life, which is why we recommend you experience a snorkelling or diving adventure during your Maldives holidays.

When to Go to the Maldives

Home to a warm, tropical climate and average temperatures between 24°C to 31°C, the Maldives two distinct seasons revolve around rain; the dry and the monsoon. The dry season takes place from November to April and is advisably the best season. The island is at it’s most popular during December to March, so if you're on a budget, we recommend visiting in November or April for lower prices. The monsoon season is from May to October, and while conditions are still warm, there is an increase in rain and storms.
