Just a whisper of France's capital conjures images of artists and visionaries, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs-Elysees. Its mid-morning croissants and wine by the River Seine. It's haute couture. The diversity of Paris' famous 20 arrondissements helps explain its enduring popularity with visitors. There's something to marvel at, whoever you are and whichever part of the city you find yourself in. Undoubtedly a walking city, thankfully many of the best-loved attractions are within an easy stroll of each other. If you're coming to shop, the quintessentially Parisian shopping experience can be found at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps on Boulevard Haussmann.

When to Go to Paris
As Audrey Hepburn famously said “Paris is always a good idea.” And she wasn’t wrong. Paris is very much an all-round city, but if you’re looking to see it at it’s ultimate, we recommend visiting in spring and autumn when weather is mild and crowds are manageable. While Paris enjoys almost perfect weather in the summer months of June to August, it’s also at its busiest with large crowds and long tourist attraction lines. Paris’ low tourist season is in winter when weather can sit around 4 to 8°C, and rain is common, particularly in December.
