From the incredible castles and cobblestone streets of capital city Lisbon, to the coastal region of Porto, and all of the delicious food in between, your journey through Portugal will reveal some of Europe’s most spectacular buildings, beaches and cuisine. In the south, white sandy beaches, glittering warm waters and year-round sunshine make the Algarve a dream holiday. When to Go to Portugal
Portugal is a truly sunny country, particularly at the height of summer, between June and September. It really is a sunseeker’s paradise. For a bit of relent from the UV rays, the shoulder seasons – spring and autumn – offer more manageable temperatures, fewer crowds and, often, better details.
Flight time: London to Lisbon flight time is around 2 hours 40 minutes.
Visas: British Citizens do not require a visa to visit Portugal for up to three months.
