The best time to experience the enchanting Colombian capital is during the dry season, which typically falls between December and March. This is when the city really comes alive with festivals, cultural events and outdoor concerts. If you're a fan of cooler weather (and smaller crowds), the months of April to June and September to November are great options, just be sure to pack a light jacket as Bogota's high altitude can bring a chill, even on sunny days!

Gaze at street art, wander the cobblestoned streets, hike to the top of Monserrate Mountain (or, you know, catch the tram), find Bogota’s best Arroz con pollo, meander markets, museum hop – the list goes on and on! One thing’s for certain, you won’t be bored in Bogota.
