Getting around Montréal is easy as the city not only has a great public transport system, but it’s also ideal to explore by foot. When your feet grow tired, you can opt to travel by public bus or on the metro. Metro stations on the street are marked by blue and white signs, with the trains operating from 5:30am to 12:30am every day. If you plan on using the metro for more than one ride, we recommend purchasing a one da y or three day pass to get the best value for money.
When to Go to Montréal
As a large city, Montréal can be visited at any time of year. In the summer months of June to August, the city is ideal for exploring by foot and experiencing the surrounding parks and outdoors.
