Whistler village covered in snow

Located just two hours’ north from Vancouver, Whistler rests at the feet of the spectacular Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The town has earned its reputation as a world-class ski destination thanks to an excellent snow record, one of the longest snow seasons in Norther America and over 8,000 acres of terrain that boasts in excess of 200 runs. The village itself is built around a pedestrian-only walkway that links a wealth of restaurants, boutique shops and vibrant nightlife. The journey between these two epic mountains is best made aboard the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola – the longest and highest in the world. From November to May you can hit the snow but even if you don’t ski there’s still plenty to do including dog sledding, snow showing, bobsledding and lots more.
