It’s no surprise to learn that Alila Seminyak has won some of the travel industry’s most prestigious awards: its soothing spa offers Balinese massages in a spectacular setting, the beachfront dining is utterly sublime, and the five swimming pools make for a fabulous dip. You can stretch out in the yoga pavilion, work out in the state-of-the-art gym, or simply enjoy a long leisurely lunch at the stunning Seasalt restaurant. Our experts really rate this resort for its fuss-free indulgence: it’s just half an hour from the international airport, and staff can organise everything from transfers to island tours too. Take your pick from jungle hikes, temple trips, cycling jaunts through the countryside – and even personalised shopping days around Seminyak’s seriously chic boutiques.
With a glorious garden-view terrace and the ocean just a stone’s throw away, these suites put Bali’s natural beauty centre stage. It’s a wild setting, but you’re certainly not slumming it: the décor is luxurious, the kingsize bed is divine, and the marble bathroom features a deep-soak tub.
Deluxe Terrace Suite
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, these suites are just a few steps from the adults-only Serene Pool – and have their very own deluxe sunloungers too. A kingsize bed, marble bathroom (with tub), and cosy living area await inside.
Alila Ocean Suite
Each of these suites opens up to a private balcony or patio, with front-row sea views – a sublime setting for your morning coffee. Our experts love the spacious layout, which includes a stylish lounge area and double bathroom (with tub), as well as a kingsize bed and walk-in wardrobe.
With its wrap-around balcony overlooking the ocean, this palatial pad feels utterly secluded – but it’s still close to the resort’s best amenities and restaurants. There’s space to sleep up to two adults and four children, in two bedrooms and a vast lounge area – complete with armchairs and a formal dining set.
This not-so humble abode offers everything you could possibly want from a penthouse: a private pool, wrap-around balcony with gorgeous ocean views, and three kingsize bedrooms – to name but a fabulous few. There’s even a personal butler on-hand to make your holiday as heavenly as possible.

The ocean takes centre stage at Seasalt – in both its beautiful beach views and the menu of succulent seafood. It’s a match made in holiday heaven. At lunch, you can feast on fresh poke bowls, grilled snapper, and crisp calamari – washed down with elderflower negronis and lychee coladas. At supper, you’ll find us feasting on spicy grilled baramundi and wagyu short ribs. Fancy a lighter bite? The Beach Bar’s pizza oven turns out stonebaked dishes and beach barbecues galore – with happy hour drinks from 7-9pm.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Open from 7am until 9pm, it’s perfect for parents who want to sneak off for a day of island adventures.
