The excellent news is that there’s no bad time to visit Kangaroo Island as every season has its appeal. If you’re here for the sun, sand and snorkelling, summer (December to February) is a dream. Autumn (between March and May) is the perfect time for warm days and cool nights, while winter (June to August) is for rugging up and getting cosy by the fire. Spring sees the island covered in wildflowers so is arguably the prettiest time to visit.
