Gü Pud

Flying with Virgin? Then you can look forward to sinking your spoon into a delicious Gü Pud. From chocolate and Madagascan vanilla cheesecakes to chocolate soufflé, these little pots of heaven are served with a cup of tea or coffee. You are guaranteed a sugar boost with this taste sensation. We only wish they lasted that little bit longer!

AIRLINE: Virgin Atlantic

Mini-assorted cheesecakes

Those with a sweet tooth are set to be satisfied onboard a Delta flight. With mini-assorted cheesecakes and dark chocolate and raisin oatmeal cookies up for grabs, you’re sure to be finishing off your meal in style. The airline also works to forge relationships with local chefs and farms, meaning you can continue to enjoy the cuisine made famous by your holiday destination even after you’ve begun the journey home.

AIRLINE: Delta

Chocolate mousse

A chocoholic’s dream, the sheer size of the chocolate mousse dessert onboard Qantas Airways is enough to satisfy even the greatest of appetites. The good news is, if it doesn’t quite do the job, you can tuck into a big bag of Maltesers afterwards.

AIRLINE: Qantas

Cookies

Your dessert serving onboard Hawaiian Airlines depends entirely on where you are flying to. Headed to Auckland? It’ll be a chocolate macadamia cookie. Bound for Beijing, and you’ll be served seasonal fresh fruits. Shortbread cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company can be devoured on the way to New York, while if you’re in Business Class, you can enjoy sumptuous guava cheesecake; the perfect long-haul pick-me-up.

AIRLINE: Hawaiian Airlines

Greek yoghurt

It’s all about health aboard JetBlue. Well, sort of. Your Chobani Greek yoghurt comes with granola and honey, so you can choose what to snack on. Mix your yoghurt with granola to give it a bit of crunch, or drizzle it in sweet honey. After all, you are on holiday.

Chocolate gateau or baklava

Flying in Economy doesn’t have to mean sub-standard desserts. In fact, in Emirates’ case, it means quite the opposite. With a choice of chocolate mousse gateau or baklava, you can dine on some seriously scrumptious puds. What’s more, you can also hand pick that perfect wine to pair with your sweet course. What better way to start your trip?

AIRLINE: Emirates

Mango and raspberry cream torte

Okay, so we’re mildly cheating with this one as you’ll need to be flying in BA’s Club World to savour these treats, but we couldn’t resist. After all, who could say no to mango and raspberry cream torte with raspberry compote? If you still have space left, you can finish off your meal with Somerset Camembert and Barber’s Cheddar, served with fig relish and biscuits. Why not enjoy it all with a full-bodied glass of red? Then all that’s left to do is sit back and relax until touchdown.
