Nashville Airport’s departures level is divided into North and South ticketing wings. Southwest and Delta check in from the North Terminal, while American and United use the South Terminal. It’s always a good idea to arrive at the airport nice and early for your flight, and to confirm check-in times directly with your airline as each may have different requirements. As a general guide, aim for at least two hours before domestic departures and three hours before international flights. Remember, it’s often possible to check in online in advance via your airline’s website or app, which can be a great way to save time on the day of travel.
Baggage allowances vary by airline and ticket class, so it’s important to confirm what’s included with your flight booking to avoid any surprises at bag drop! For more specific information on baggage limits, such as the size, weight and number of bags included in your airfare, check with your airline or ask your Travel Expert for assistance. It’s worth noting that Nashville Airport does not currently offer luggage storage facilities. SmarteCarte luggage carts are available in the baggage claim area, and there’s a dedicated oversize baggage claim for guitars, golf clubs and other large items – this is Music City, after all.
There are a range of facilities available at Nashville Airport for your convenience and use before or after your flight.
