Nashville Airport (BNA) Guide

WeGo Route 18 bus links BNA to downtown Nashville’s Music City Central station, with an express service taking around 20–25 minutes. The fare is just $2 each way, making it a budget-friendly option for light travellers. Buses depart from the Ground Transportation Centre. 

BNA offers a Terminal Garage attached directly to the terminal with skywalks to ticketing, plus economy parking lots with shuttle service. Rates range from approximately $15 per day for economy lots to $34 per day for the Terminal Garage. 

Many nearby hotels offer free shuttle services from the Ground Transportation Centre. Groome Transportation also runs scheduled shuttle services to Knoxville, Chattanooga and other cities in Tennessee and Kentucky. 

Taxis operate from the Ground Transportation Centre on a flat-rate basis – approximately $30 to downtown Nashville. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are also available from the designated pick-up area, with typical fares of around $25–30 to the city centre. 

All major car rental companies, including Hertz, Avis and Enterprise, are based in the Consolidated Rental Car Facility directly across from the terminal – no shuttle needed. Talk to your Travel Expert about organising car hire for your trip or book it yourself online before you leave. 

Nashville Airport has a single terminal with four concourses – A, B, C and D – all connected airside, so there’s no need for separate terminal transfers.

With over 20 airlines and direct flights to more than 115 destinations, BNA is one of the fastest-growing airports in the US. 

As a general rule, you should aim to arrive at Nashville Airport at least two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights. BNA has seen a surge in passenger numbers in recent years, so giving yourself that buffer is a good idea. Yes, Nashville Airport has several lounges including the American Airlines Admirals Club, Delta Sky Club, The Club at BNA and Minute Suites for private napping. Minute Suites near Concourse D offer private micro-suites with a daybed, TV and desk, bookable by the hour – ideal for a quick nap or some quiet work time. Several lounges also provide comfortable rest areas. There are numerous hotels located close to the airport, many with free shuttle services.
