Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 handles the majority of airlines including Delta, American, United, JetBlue, Air France and KLM, while Terminal 2 is home to Southwest, Sun Country and Frontier. It’s always a good idea to arrive at the airport nice and early for your flight, and to confirm check-in times directly with your airline as each may have different requirements. As a general guide, aim for at least two hours before domestic departures and three hours before international flights. Remember, it’s often possible to check in online in advance via your airline’s website or app, which can be a great way to save time on the day of travel.

Baggage

Baggage allowances vary by airline and ticket class, so it’s important to confirm what’s included with your flight booking to avoid any surprises at bag drop! For more specific information on baggage limits, such as the size, weight and number of bags included in your airfare, check with your airline or ask your Travel Expert for assistance. It’s worth noting that Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport does not currently offer public luggage storage facilities. SmarteCarte luggage carts are available throughout the terminals, and the Lost & Found office is located in Terminal 1 on the Valet Level.
