Acapulco Airport (ACA) Guide

There is a car park located just outside the terminal at Acapulco Airport. If you’re planning to leave a vehicle while you soak up the sunshine elsewhere, parking is available on-site. 

Taxis are readily available from the ground transportation area at Acapulco Airport. Fares operate on a zone-based system, and you can purchase your taxi ticket at the kiosk inside the terminal before heading outside. A ride to the main hotel zone along the coast takes around 30 minutes. 

Local buses do service the area around Acapulco Airport, though services may be limited. If you’re considering public transport, check timetables and routes in advance, as travel time into the city can vary. 

Car rental companies, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty, are available at Acapulco Airport’s Arrivals Hall. Talk to your Travel Expert about organising car hire for your trip or book it yourself online before you leave. 

Pre-booked airport shuttle and private transfer services are available from Acapulco Airport. This can be a convenient option, especially if you’d rather have a driver waiting with your name on a sign when you land. 

Acapulco Airport is a single-terminal airport, so there’s no need for terminal transfers – one less thing to think about! 

A number of airlines fly into and out of Acapulco Airport, including Aeroméxico, Air Transat, American Airlines, United Airlines, Viva Aerobus and Volaris.
