Most airlines release tickets around 11 months in advance, and as a rough guide, we recommend booking your flights between six and nine months before you plan to travel. When it comes to balancing airfare availability with the biggest savings, this should give you the best of both worlds!

Flying in Economy? LATAM Airlines tickets will generally allow you to bring one small personal item and one carry-on bag (55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm) with a maximum combined weight of 12kg.

In most cases, Economy passengers can also bring one checked bag weighing up to 23kg with a maximum linear dimension of 158 cm. The linear dimension of your bag is calculated by adding the height, length and width (including wheels and handles).

Baggage allowances may vary depending on your flight itinerary, loyalty program status and ticket class, so make sure you check what’s included with your specific LATAM Airlines tickets. Need to add extra baggage to your booking? Talk to your Travel Expert before take-off.
