While last-minute JetBlue sale fares may become available, you’ll generally find it pays to plan ahead when booking international flights. Most airlines release tickets around 11 months in advance, and as a rough guide, we recommend booking your JetBlue airfare around six months before you plan to fly. When it comes to balancing airfare availability with the best savings, this should give you the best of both worlds.
In most cases, your JetBlue airfare will include one small personal item that fits under your seat (43cm x 33cm x 20cm) and one carry-on bag (55cm x 35 cm x 22cm). A checked baggage allowance is not included in most basic fares but can be added for an additional fee.
Where checked baggage is included or has been added, passengers can generally bring a bag weighing up to 22kg and with a maximum linear dimension of 157cm. You can calculate the linear dimension of your bag by adding the height, length and width (including wheels and handles) together.
Baggage allowances will vary depending on your flight itinerary, loyalty program status and ticket class, so make sure you check what’s included with your specific JetBlue tickets. Need to add baggage to your booking? Talk to your Travel Expert before take-off.
You may be able to earn frequent flyer points when booking JetBlue flights with us. If the booking meets your program’s requirements, you’ll earn points! For more information, check with your specific loyalty program and see our Booking Conditions.
