While last-minute British Airways sale fares may become available, you’ll generally find it pays to plan ahead, especially if you’re booking long-haul international flights! Most airlines release tickets around 11 months in advance, and as a rough guide, we recommend you book British Airways flights between six and nine months before you fly. When flying with British Airways, you can generally bring one handbag (40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm) and one carry-on bag (56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm), both weighing up to 23kg, on board with you. 

Depending on your ticket, checked baggage may be included in your British Airways airfare. For Economy passengers, checked bags typically have a weight limit of 23kg and can measure up to 90 cm x 75 cm x 43 cm.
