We had a fantastic response so thank-you to everyone who cast their votes in the inaugural Flight Centre Travel Blog Awards we ran throughout March. Having counted thousands of votes, here are our winners across each of the eight categories:
Established Travel Blogs – Mrs Ayla’s Adventures
Claiming 58% of the votes, Mrs Ayla’s Adventures is a worthy winner in the Established Travel Blogs category with her concise and inspirational guides of places to visit and things to do.
Documenting journeys undertaken with her husband across the world, London-based jet setter Ayla also eloquently recounts life in her home city. Ayla’s passion for travel and exploration shines through on Mrs Ayla’s Adventures and she even manages to juggle her inspiring blog with a full-time job, which is no mean feat.

Up And Coming Travel Blogs – I Am Aileen
Aileen Adalid’s I Am Aileen blog is our winner in the Up and Coming Travel Blogs category. Gathering 38% of the votes, this self-confessed digital nomad and rising star from the Philippines has already travelled throughout much of Asia and Europe.
With a wealth of information on her blog to inform and inspire, Aileen is fulfilling her dream of exploring the globe whilst at the same time inspiring others to enjoy a life of travel just like she is. This is perfectly illustrated by I Am Aileen which has an ever growing following and strong social media presence (you can follow her on her travels on twitter by searching for @iAmAileen).

The With Husband In Tow blog is perfect if you love travel and discovering dishes from around the world in equal measure with a comprehensive guide to enjoying Hong Kong Dim Sum amongst recent culinary delights featured.

Sidetracked continues to go from strength to strength, having been launched five years ago.
