Day 1
Fly from the UK to Lima
Day 1
Lima
Arrive at any time and get settled in to Peru before your welcome meeting to start your tour.
Day 2
Lima/Puno
Fly to Juliaca then take a short bus ride to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Titicaca is also the largest lake in the world above 2000m, and the views from both Amantaní and Taquile Islands are stunning.
Day 3
Puno and Lake Titicaca
Embark on a guided tour of Lake Titicaca, cruising to the Taquile Islands for a local lunch with breathtaking views. Later, experience a heartwarming homestay in a lakeside village, immersing yourself in rural Peruvian life, language, and traditions
Day 4
Isla Amantani/Puno
Visit the floating islands of Uros before returning to Puno, with an optional excursion to the ancient Sillustani burial site.
Day 5
Puno/Cusco
Embark on a scenic full-day bus journey from Puno to Cusco, traversing the high Altiplano region. Arrive in Cusco, where you can explore the city or prepare for the enchanting Sacred Valley.
Day 6
Ollantaytambo
Discover the Sacred Valley with a guided tour, including visits to a G Adventures-supported women's weaving co-op and a pottery making community. Lunch at the G Adventures-supported Parwa Community Restaurant supports local communities, and you can choose to explore Ollantaytambo's storehouses or relax in a local Chicheria.
Days 7-9
Inca Trail
Return to the Sacred Valley with the CEO to visit the sites of the Maras Salt Mines and Moray. Spend the evening in Cusco.
When the hikers leave in the morning, return to Cusco with the CEO, visiting the sites of the Maras Salt Mines and Moray on the way.
Day 10
Machu Picchu
Witness the sunrise at the Sun Gate overlooking Machu Picchu. Descend for a guided tour of the ruins before taking a train back to Cusco.
Day 11
Cusco
Enjoy a free day exploring Cusco or choose optional activities like Rainbow Mountain hike or Cusco Cooking Class.
Day 12
Cusco to Tambopata
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and continue by boat to the G Lodge Amazon, nestled in the Tambopata Rainforest. Explore the rich flora, fauna, and local traditions.
Day 13
Tambopata Excursions
Join expert naturalists for guided wildlife excursions, relax in a hammock, visit a plantation, and embark on a caiman spotting cruise.
Day 14
Tambopata to Lima
Fly back to Lima for an optional final dinner and night out, concluding this incredible journey through Peru's diverse landscapes and cultures.
Day 15
Depart Lima and return to the UK
