Your Example Itinerary
Day 1
Fly from London to Hanoi
Day 1
Hanoi
Arrive in bustling Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. As passengers will be arriving at various times today, there are no planned activities. You will have a scheduled group meeting in the evening around 6pm with your Cheif Experience Office (CEO). After your meeting, you may choose to head out for an optional dinner to further get to know your CEO and fellow group members.
Days 2-3
Da Bac / Sung village
After breakfast, head for Sung village to meet the Dzao ‘Tien’ people. Learn all about farming and forest plantation, tour the village and have lunch at a homestay (your accommodation for the night), before trekking to the enticing Sung Cave.
Day 4
Cat Ba Island
A ferry will take you to Cat Ba Island and the beautiful Lan Ha Bay. Not as well known as its neighbour (Ha Long), this place feels more off the beaten track whilst being equally beautiful. Admire the limestone karsts from a kayak, take a dip in the sea, and marvel at the starry sky during your overnight stay.
Day 5
Hanoi/Overnight Train
Hanoi offers equal parts history, hedonism, and hidden gems. We're talking charming chaos, mouth-watering street eats, and a cultural cocktail that's shaken, not stirred. As you stroll through the bustling streets, you'll find yourself immersed in a unique blend of history, culture, and contemporary vibrancy. From the historic Old Quarter's narrow alleys, where the past whispers in the architecture and the aromas of street food stalls, to the elegant French buildings that stand as a testament to Hanoi's colonial past, this city is a living canvas of contrasts.
Days 6-7
Hue
Founded as a royal city in 1687, Hue is the gateway to the treasures of Vietnam's royal past and remains one of Vietnam's major tourist attractions. This quiet city is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadel, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen dynasty in a background of greenery on the banks of the Perfume River.
Days 8-9
Hoi An
Enjoy a scenic drive to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and take a walking tour of the ancient town. Visit local markets for food, hit the shops, or visit the nearby My Son ruins. Strolling through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter, you will see the various Chinese Assembly Halls, Ancestral Homes, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and well-preserved Pagodas.
Days 10-11
Quy Nhon
This seaside city offers the chance to learn about martial arts and its history. You'll also visit the ancient citadel of Do Ban - the last capital of the Champa Kingdom.
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City
Head to Ho Chi Minh. During your free time you can take a tour by cyclo (rickshaw) to various sights around town. See Notre Dame Cathedral, Gustav Eiffel's Post Office, the Opera House, Rex Hotel, and town hall or you may wish to visit the War Remnants Museum or the Reunification Palace.
Day 13
Mekong Delta
Cruise along the Mekong Delta and discover floating markets, lush rice paddies, and quaint riverside villages, or head to the nearby mountains for hiking, biking, and zip-lining adventures.
Days 14-15
Ho Chi Minh
Your Vietnam adventure draws to a close.
Day 15
Depart Ho Chi Minh and return to the UK
