Day 1
Fly from the UK to Malta
Day 1
Embarkation in Valletta, Malta
After arriving into Malta, you will be transferred to your cruise for boarding. Enjoy your evening onboard P&O Azura as you start your journey towards Italy.
Day 2
At Sea
Enjoy your day cruising towards Italy, enjoying the facilities and entertainment aboard. Whether you choose to visit The Playhouse Theatre for a show, take in a movie at the SeaScreen open-air cinema, or relax in the Spa, the day is yours to spend however you prefer.
Day 3
Civitavecchia (for Rome) , Italy
This morning you arrive into Civitavecchia cruise port, a short trip away from the bustling capital city of Italy. One of the most historic cities in Western Europe, Rome has something for everyone - with incredible culture, historic architecture, and world class food. Visit the Vatican City to admire the sensational Sistene chapel, wander in the footsteps of Gladiators in the Colosseum, and take in the Trevi fountain within your short time in Rome.
Day 4
Livorno (for Pisa/Florence), Italy
Founded in the 16th century by the Grand Dukes of Tuscany - the Medici Family, Livorno remains a busy port and town. Its centre, which is walkable from the port, has some pretty bars, cafes and chic shops but most of Livornos cruise visitors head straight for Pisa, Florence, or the Tuscan towns of Lucca and Siena. You may be surprised to find that the recently restored Leaning Tower is just one of many towers in Pisa and that elegant Florence is compact enough to be walkable. With the Arno river running through it, you should be able to keep your bearings fairly easily as you visit the Uffizi Gallery and cross the gold and silver merchants-lined Ponte Vecchio on your way round the many attractions of this startlingly beautiful Renaissance city.
Day 5
Cannes, France
Today you arrive into Cannes, the glamorous French city most well known for their film festival. Wander the palm tree lined La Croisette, explore the boutique shops, or people watch from a local café as you soak in the charm of the French riviera.
Day 6
Ajaccio, France
Ajaccio has a relaxed island feel with a touch of French flair. It’s Napoleon’s birthplace, so there’s some cool history to explore, but it’s also great for just strolling the waterfront, grabbing a gelato, and soaking up the Corsican sunshine.
Day 7
At Sea
Enjoy your final day at sea before you arrive into Valletta tomorrow. Make sure you tick off everything you wanted to experience on your cruise, or revisit any favourites to end your cruise journey on a high.
Day 8
Disembark in Valletta, Malta
Your cruise comes to an end this morning after arriving into Malta. If you wish to extend your time in Malta, speak to your travel expert for assistance in adding additional accommodation and excursions.
Day 8
Depart Malta and return to the UK
