Nestled 150 miles inside the Arctic Circle and embraced by three majestic fjords, Narvik boasts a truly awe-inspiring setting. Originally established as a year-round port to serve the Swedish iron mines, Narvik held significant strategic importance during World War II, becoming a key target for Germany. Today, visitors have the opportunity to explore the local galleries, peruse charming shops, and indulge in delightful restaurants specializing in delectable local seafood and reindeer meat.
