Day 1

Fly from the UK to Seoul, South Korea

Days 2-3

Seoul, South Korea

Dive into the dynamic heart of South Korea with two exhilarating days in Seoul. Wander through the majestic palaces of Gyeongbokgung and the tranquil gardens of Bukchon Hanok Village, where centuries-old traditions come alive. Then shift gears in the buzzing districts of Myeongdong and Gangnam, where fashion, food, and futuristic tech dazzle at every turn. From sizzling street eats to serene temple moments, Seoul offers a perfect blend of culture, style, and soul—all in just 48 hours.

Hotel: 4* Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yeongsam

Day 4

Seoul, South Korea

Today you will embark on your Celebrity Millennium cruise. The ship departs at 5pm, and you are advised to board 2-3 hours prior to departure to ensure you are settled before the ship leaves. With the morning free, take a final stroll around Seoul to take in any sights that you've not managed to see, before settling into your home away from home for the next twelve days.

Day 5

At Sea

While at sea, indulge in some well-deserved relaxation before your next adventure. Unwind by the pool, pamper yourself at the spa, savor exquisite cuisine, or discover the unique venues on board. Your next incredible destination awaits.

Day 6

Jeju Island, South Korea

South Korea's tropical island paradise will enchant you with its sandy beaches, swaying palm trees and amazing volcanic landscape. Need a break from your beach towel? Waterfalls, museums, folk villages, scuba diving, hiking and festivals galore will keep you busy. Explore the colorful coral and sea life with a scuba dive off the coast of laid-back Seogwipo. Take an underground stroll through the world’s longest lava-tube cave at Manjanggul.

Day 7

Nagasaki, Japan

Historically rich Nagasaki features beautiful seaside scenery and fabulous nighttime views from its mountain slopes. Secluded hot springs, fascinating museums, and ornate temples live side by side in this exciting city. Ten natural parks grace the area, and unique festivals can be experienced throughout the year. Walk through streets influenced by both Chinese and European cultures in fascinating Nagasaki.

Day 8

Kagoshima, Japan

Kagoshima is the southernmost city on Japan's bullet train network and the capital of Kagoshima Prefecture. The city is often compared with its Italian sister city, Naples, due to a similarly mild climate, streets lined with palm trees, and Sakurajima, Kagoshima's version of Vesuvius. Near port, find the fascinating Kagoshima aquarium, traditional Senganen Japanese gardens, museums, the Shiroyama mountain-top park with a view over the city, and Yakushima Island, a registered world heritage site. Plus, an abundance of hot springs, mud baths, and spas to promote serenity and relaxation.

Day 9

Hiroshima, Japan

While paying tribute to the infamous nuclear attack that destroyed the city in 1945, Hiroshima is now defined as a beacon of peace and prides itself on its exceptional natural beauty. See more than 300 cherry blossom trees in bloom at Peace Memorial Park, journey to the breathtaking Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, and take time to sample "okonomiyaki"—a delicious example of Japanese soul food.

Day 10

At Sea

With another day at sea, explore more of what the Celebrity Millennium has to offer. Perhaps you'll enjoy a show at the onboard theatre, or simply relax in the solarium after a busy few days exploring - the choice is yours.

Days 11-12

Kyoto (Osaka), Japan

Your ship will dock in Osaka, located a short distance away from Kyoto by train. Both cities offer a wealth of sights to see and experience, with the historic capital of Kyoto being home to iconic landmarks such as the Kenkakuji Golden Pavillion, the thousands of iconic red Torii gates lining their way up to Fushimi Inari Shrine, the historic centre of Gion - known for their Geisha and tea culture - and the stunning Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Osaka meanwhile, is known for its vibrant and modern nightlife centred around Dotonbori, and their incredible street food culture. Make sure to sample some of the local favourites such as Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki for an authentic taste of Japan.

Day 13

At Sea

For your final day at sea, make sure you tick off any other onboard activites that you wanted to experience. Whether you visit the sunset bar for a drink, or sample one of the specialty restaurants onboard, make sure you recharge before your arrival to Mount Fuji tomorrow.

Day 14

Mt Fuji (Shimizu), Japan

On clear days, particularly in winter, Mount Fuji (Fuji-san in Japanese) is visible from as far as Tokyo, 60 miles away. When Japan's highest mountain is capped with snow, it's a picture-postcard perfect volcanic cone. One of the best-known symbols of Japan, this iconic mountain has been considered sacred since ancient times and was even forbidden to women until the early 1900s.

Day 15

Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo Yokohama, Japan: Even though Tokyo is among the largest, most frenetic cities in the world, it’s still able to maintain a great deal of efficiency and charm. Amid the endless buzzing neon signs and the overhead cable webs, Tokyo is home to some of the world’s most impressive architecture, stylish shops and 4-star restaurants. Sushi lovers will revel in Tokyo’s offering of the famous dish. And the city’s “Ramen Zones” serve up unique noodle dishes where slurping is encouraged. Visit the Tokyo Tower on your Tokyo cruise for heart-pounding panoramic views of the city way atop the 492-foot high Grand Observation Deck. And just a short distance outside of the clamor the city is a whole different world. In the surrounding small towns and villages you’ll get a glimpse into Japan’s rich culture and traditions. Here you’ll discover scores of wooden residential homes, ancient temples, shrines and imperial gardens. From the frenzy-filled metropolis to the tranquil bonsai-tree-lined neighborhoods, Tokyo is truly a study in delightful contrast.

Days 16-17

Tokyo, Japan

Today you will disembark from your cruise, and check in to your hotel for your final two nights in Tokyo, staying in the heart of Shinjuku. There are no end to sights to see in Tokyo, from the charming historic area of Asakusa, to the thriving shops and neon lights of the Akihabara district. However you choose to spend your last two days in Tokyo, this is a city that will leave a lasting impression.

Hotel: 4* Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
