Southampton
Step aboard Arvia, one of P&O Cruises’ newest Excel-class ships, and settle into 14 nights of sun, culture, and sensational cuisine. From the start, you’ll enjoy full-board dining across seven venues, as well as access to four pools, a swim-up bar, and onboard entertainment. This cruise is part of the exclusive Food Heroes programme, sp Spanish chef José Pizarro will be onboard, bringing his passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients to a bespoke tapas menu in The Glass House.
Day 2
At Sea
Enjoy a full day to explore Arvia at your own pace. Try a fitness class, lounge by the rooftop pool, or catch a film in the multiplex cinema. Younger guests can head to the children’s club while adults unwind at the spa or enjoy a cocktail from the swim-up bar.
Day 3
La Coruña, Spain
Dock in the historic city of La Coruña, where you can visit the UNESCO-listed Tower of Hercules or join a tour to Santiago de Compostela. Return to the ship for an evening of live music, dinner, and entertainment under the stars.
Days 4-5
At Sea
Make the most of two relaxing days at sea. Whether you’re taking a dip in one of the pools, playing mini golf, or browsing the shops onboard, there’s plenty to keep you busy. In the evening, enjoy a West End-style show or a peaceful sundowner, complete with ocean views. If you haven’t already, try one of the specialty restaurants or grab a bite at Taste 360 for a casual al fresco meal.
Day 6
Palma de Mallorca
Arrive in Palma, a vibrant mix of Gothic architecture and beachy charm. Visit the impressive cathedral, explore the historic Old Town, or relax in a café before returning for a swim or dinner onboard.
Day 7
At Sea
Recharge as you sail through the western Mediterranean. Choose from gym sessions, cocktail masterclasses, or simply relax on deck with a good book. The evening is perfect for catching one of Arvia’s comedy acts or live performances.
Day 8
La Spezia, Italy
From La Spezia, you can explore the art and culture of Florence, see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, or take a scenic trip to the charming seaside environs of Cinque Terre. Back onboard, enjoy a leisurely dinner and a sunset stroll on the promenade.
Day 9
Toulon, France
Discover Toulon’s naval heritage or join an excursion to the Provençal countryside. After a day of sightseeing, return to Arvia for relaxed dining, stargazing, or a dip in the infinity pool.
Day 10
Barcelona, Spain
Spend a full day in this cosmopolitan city – walk La Rambla, visit Gaudí’s Sagrada Família, or sample tapas in the Gothic Quarter. Foodie guests may enjoy one of the exclusive tasting experiences with José Pizarro, P&O’s guest chef, who brings the flavours of Spain to select venues onboard.
Day 11
At Sea
Relax and unwind as you cruise west. Whether you're sunbathing by the pool, watching a film, or joining a hosted wine tasting, there’s plenty to enjoy. Families can take advantage of the splash zone and night nursery for some downtime.
Day 12
Cádiz (for Seville), Spain
Stroll the charming streets of Cádiz or take a day trip to Seville to admire its cathedrals and palaces. Onboard, enjoy a final chance to try José Pizarro’s Spanish-inspired dishes at The Glass House, part of P&O’s Food Heroes programme.
Days 13-14
At Sea
With your holiday winding down, this is a great time to revisit your favourite places onboard – from the swim-up bar to the cinema. Join a farewell dinner and enjoy one more spectacular show before you disembark.
