Days 14 - 15: Hervey Bay
The picturesque seaside town of Hervey Bay is the perfect place to relax before you visit the nearby UNESCO-listed Fraser Island – the largest sand island in the world and home to an incredible array of wildlife, both on and offshore. Fraser Island is one of the best places for whale watching in Australia and its waters are also home to dugongs and dolphins – be sure to keep an eye out when you embark on your inclusive Fraser Island Explorer Tour. This full day experience will take you along the famous 75 Mile Beach and through forests of scribbly gum and huge satinay, brush box and kauri trees.
