Why we Love the Flight Centre Concierge Team

travel

Our Concierge team is one of our best assets at Flight Centre – here to offer you advice on the best restaurants, help secure tickets to events, and plan celebratory events for you – from special birthdays to engagements while you're on one of our holidays. But it's the lovely people, our dedicated Concierge team themselves, that make this service such a success. Here we catch up with Jennifer about the team and why she truly loves what she does:

This is The Best Job in the World

Today I’ve organised an airboat ride in the swamps, recommended the best dishes to eat in Vietnam, helped someone who left their Kindle on a plane, assisted with route planning in New Zealand and quoted a tour to swim with bioluminescent plankton. We book the most exciting parts of a holiday, the bits people never forget.

We Offer Many Levels of Support

One of the most memorable things that we’ve done was for a young boy who was petrified of flying. Prior to travel, we supported the parents with tips to make a long-haul flight enjoyable for everyone. They had also booked our Wind Dancer helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon, landing in Hualapai Indian territory. We arranged for a certificate and toy helicopter to be presented to the boy afterwards. Of course, we can book babysitters, ensure places have milk ready for bedtime and provide information about kids’ clubs, too.

Our Service is for Everyone…

…whether you’re travelling as a couple, solo or as a family. It comes as part of the Journey and Escape experience, so it’s completely free. Booking a tailor-made Journey or Escape with Flight Centre means that you not only get the advice of our Travel Consultants in store, but our assistance as well.

Book one of our tailor-made Journeys today and make your trip extra-special with help from our Flight Centre Concierge team.

Jen absolutely loves spicy food – she even had fresh chillis in her wedding bouquet. She lived in Russia for four years so explored a lot of the country and developed a love for vodka. Jen loves to travel by train as she is a bit of a nervous flyer – she's done the Trans Siberian and Trans Mongolian train as well as interrailing for two summers in a row, with bullet train journeys lined up for next year. Jen's dream is to travel on the Rocky Mountaineer! She just been to South Africa on safari and has Japan and the States booked in for this year!
