If you want to experience the extravagance of Vegas, you experience it through their shows. Watch the very live entertainment that will add the glitz and glamour to any evening.  Let the highly professional and exceptionally talented dancers, singers and acrobats blow your mind and transport you with their stage presence and set. The world-renowned Cirque du Soleil currently has seven unmissable shows that will have you hooked on every note. If you want to be awe-struck by phenomenal staging, costumes and jaw-dropping special effects – don’t delay, bag those tickets.

Gamble at a casino

Casinos in Las Vegas are so much more than a place to hit big on the jackpot. Each casino in Vegas offers its own theme with spectacular execution – and there are over 100 to choose from. From the lavishness of Bellagio all the way back to the medieval times at Excalibur, You’ll certainly be spoilt for choice. Play slots machines or table games, it doesn’t matter if you’re a casual player or a high-roller – all are welcome to try their luck. Eat a buffet

Did someone say all-day buffet? All that gambling can be hungry work, didn’t you know? Las Vegas is known to not only offer an incredibly generous and endless buffet, but at bargain prices too. Depending on where you go, enjoy the likes of a steak, salmon roulade, BBQ chicken, grilled corn-on-the cob, seasonal fruits, a salad bar and cuisines which span lots of different cultures. Vegas buffets are easy to find, they’re dotted all over the strip and inside the many hotels. Another fun fact: chocolate lovers can find a large chocolate fountain at the buffet in Wynn Las Vegas. You’re welcome.

Party with a famous DJ

Las Vegas is a magnet for celebrities and is home to the hottest parties at some of the best nightclubs across the world. It won’t be hard to find yourself at Hakkasan dancing to music mixed by chart-topping DJs like David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Zedd or Skrillex. It’s also certainly not impossible to spot a celebrity over in the VIP section living their best life. For Mexican Independence Day in 2014, I found myself dancing at XS at The Wynn and spotted One Direction, Pitbull, Diplo and Marvin Humes amping up the crowds from the DJ booth. Quite easily the best club experience of my life.

While you’re at it, check to see which celebrities have residency in Las Vegas and seize the opportunity to see them live. Las Vegas hotels has a history of star-studded residencies with celebrities like Britney Spears, Boys II Men, Jlo, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and so many more. Grab your tickets, bring yourself and your travel buddy and get ready to sing and dance your heart out.

Experience Fremont Street lights

Las Vegas is the brightest city in the world, so bright you can see if from space. Its vibrant neon lights have become one of the city’s biggest staples. Fremont Street offers you the chance to see more of that in a remarkable show of lights off the strip in downtown Las Vegas. Head to the pedestrian mall and enjoy the addictive Fremont Street light show that begins every hour once it gets dark. And if that’s not enough for entertainment, you can enjoy the regular free concerts or even zip line above the thousands of tourists below.

Witness the Fountains of Bellagio

After you’re finishing up with dinner, take an evening stroll to the Fountains of Bellagio to see the iconic Bellagio water show. The fountain spreads across an 8.5 acre lake and is powered by 1,214 jets that shoots up to 460 feet high. Sit in the Venetian gondolas
