British Airways Pilot Strike: Latest Information

British Airways has lost its appeal to stop planned strike action by its pilots. Industrial action is planned to take place on 9th, 10th and 27th September. Flights may also be affected on other dates as the service returns to normal.

As always, Flight Centre’s main priority is to ensure all of our customers are able to enjoy every element of their holiday, or travel on business, without disruption.

We will reach out directly to all passengers due to travel with British Airways on any proposed strike dates, however our customers can feel free to contact their dedicated Travel Consultant for assistance at any time or call 0808 278 6552.

We appointed a taskforce to deal with this immediately after BA lost its appeal, and they’ve been monitoring the situation for some time to keep track of customers with imminent departures in August and September who might have been the first to be affected.

This highly experienced team has been proactively exploring potential alternative travel arrangements for each of these British Airways passengers, even though many are likely to be able to travel as normal.

While this is a considerable undertaking, it’s a service we are proud to provide as part of our duty of care and one of the many benefits of booking your whole holiday with a single, established travel agent.

It’s what we mean when we say All travel, No worries.
