Noosa Main Beach

One of Australia’s most popular beaches, Noosa’s Main Beach is situated along the beautiful northeast-facing coastline of Laguna Bay and the Coral Sea. With moderate waves and a balmy sub-tropical climate, this beach is perfect for swimming and family fun throughout the year. There are many activities to enjoy along Main Beach. The gentle waves make this the ideal place for a refreshing swim and is perfect for a beginner's surf lesson. Get a game of volleyball going or simply soak up the stunning Queensland sun. Luxury hotels and fine restaurants line the beach and are a great place for a tasty lunch or cold drink, while nearby Hastings Street offers boutique shops, cafés and art galleries.

At the end of the beach, an inviting boardwalk winds its way along the coast and through bushland where koalas, colourful birds and interesting plant life can be seen. The pathway continues into the Noosa National Park where clifftop trails lead to scenic overlooks and untouched bushlands.

Main Beach is located in Noosa and runs parallel with Hastings Street. To reach the beach, follow Noosa Drive to the roundabout where it ends at Hastings.
