The Dorrigo National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforest and is a World Heritage listed park. This lush, pristine forest covers close to 12,000 hectares of land and is only a one hour drive from Coffs Harbour and 3 miles east of Dorrigo.

The Dorrigo Rainforest Centre is an excellent place to begin your journey. With many resources available, the centre introduces visitors to the park with materials such as guides, maps and informational displays, showcasing the park and all its wonders. There is also a café at the centre as well as barbecues and toilet facilities along with boardwalks and viewing areas that offer stunning views.

There are many wonderful trails through the park including a boardwalk that hovers over the rainforest canopy giving visitors a birds-eye view down into the dense greenery. A short, easily accessible walk near the Rainforest Centre is the skywalk which provides incredible panoramic views overlooking a huge portion of the vast rainforest and the mountains and valleys that it covers. Next to the skywalk is a trail leading to the glorious rainforest with access to its waterfalls and beautiful flora and fauna.

To reach the park and Rainforest Centre from Coffs Harbour take the Pacific Motorway south, exiting at Waterfall Way to Dorrigo. Turn right at Dome Road (approximately 2 kilometres before Dorrigo).
