Day 1: Bangkok
Fly from the UK to Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok
Explore the hustle and bustle of Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, a bright and modern city that retains plenty of traditional features and charm.
Days 3 - 4: Koh Samui
Fly to Koh Samui and spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, or exploring the town by tuk-tuk. Unwind on beautiful Chaweng Beach, a long sweep of white sand flanked by green hills and coconut trees. There are plenty of cultural highlights here too, with numerous elaborate temples – look out for the hard-to-miss Big Buddha. The following day, set sail on a traditional longtail boat to the pristine islands of Koh Madsum and Koh Tan. Go snorkelling, or kayak over the azure waters, before enjoying a picnic lunch on the beach.
Days 5 - 6:
Hop aboard a ferry to the mainland, where you’ll visit Anurak Community Lodge. Located just outside Khao Sok National Park, the bungalow rooms here are built on stilts and surrounded by lush gardens. Embark on a rainforest walk with one of the lodge’s community guides, before feasting on a campfire dinner beneath the stars. The next day is free to spend however you wish – relax at the lodge, hone your skills during a Thai cooking class, or set off on a jungle hike.
Days 7 - 8: Krabi
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Krabi and board a private longtail boat to cross the river. Make sure your camera is ready to capture the mangrove forests you’ll pass on the way. Visit the Khai Khanap Nam Caves and marvel at the limestone formations, before continuing onto Koh Klang. Here, you can jump into a tuk-tuk to explore the rice fields and rural industries, including a rubber plantation. The following day is yours – relax at a spa, rent kayaks to get a closer look at the emerald karsts, or simply chill out on Ao Nang Beach.
Days 9 - 10:
Return to Bangkok and fly back to the UK.
