This resort blends so seamlessly into St Lucia’s lush coastal hillside, you could almost believe it’s been here forever. With two golden beaches, luxurious lodgings, and a clutch of sensational restaurants, this island idyll is perfect for grown-up getaways.

Standard Room
Set on either the hillside or beachfront, Standard Rooms feature a kingsize bed, en suite with shower, and a spacious lounge area. You’ll fall for the unique décor: the bedspreads and cushions are made from colourful cotton madras (the island’s ‘national cloth’) while the furniture is handmade locally from teak and mahogany.

Superior Room
Located all over the hillside, these quirky rooms – either rectangular or octagonal in shape – include canopied four-poster beds, private balconies, and spectacular views of the sea or Piton peaks. Look out for the murals on the ceilings – just one of the suites’ many unique, colourful twists.

Deluxe Beachside
All beachside rooms are just a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge, and are surrounded by blossoming gardens. With kingsize beds, private patios, and double bathrooms – plus lots of little extras such as designer toiletries, espresso makers and handmade bath robes – you’ll have everything you need for an unforgettable break.

Premium Hillside
While all of the Premium Hillsuite suites are fantastic, we recommend asking for one without a fourth wall: these ones are open to the elements – so there’s nothing between you and those epic sea views. With the refreshing sea breeze, it’s a delight to dine on your private terrace and stretch out in that plush kingsize bed.

Piton Pool Casuarina
Offering the utmost privacy, Casuarina boasts its own sun-kissed pool – plus a magnificent master bedroom and deluxe bathroom with double shower. You’ll love the secluded setting, tucked away amid lush tropical foliage – with breathtaking views of the Pitons and sea.

Children aged 10 and over are welcome, but note that there is no kids’ club and the resort’s terrain and amenities are most suited to adult guests. The minimum age reduces to six in July, August and September; extra bed charges for children apply year-round, and meal plans are available.

Inspired by their wild surroundings, the resort’s restaurants make the most of St Lucia’s fresh flavours and natural produce – from exotic Creole cuisine at Treehouse and Indian-Caribbean fusion at Apsara, to gourmet all-veggie feasts at Emeralds. With its own organic plantation in the Soufriere hills, Anse Chastanet champions nutritious ingredients – while supporting local farmers and communities too.

Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Why we recommend Anse Chastanet Resort

Your holiday begins the moment you set foot in Anse Chastanet’s 600-acre estate: stretching from the ocean to the hills, this private playground encompasses rainforest, beaches, a former plantation and much more. Each of the resort’s 49 rooms are designed to make the most of this spectacular setting – with private balconies, infinity pools, and even open-air suites for you to choose from. With their pristine coral reefs, the nearby bays are a snorkeller’s delight – while the estate itself boasts invigorating hiking and biking trails, as well as a tennis court, watersports and secluded hammocks. Perched high on the hill is the Kai Belte Spa, which uses natural ingredients from the resort’s organic farm – and offers yoga masterclasses, meditation, and more.
