With its tropical gardens, white-sand beach and clutch of secluded villas, this boutique retreat will soothe even the most frazzled soul. Head to the spa for some luxurious R&R, try a Thai cooking lesson, or simply stretch out by the pool. In a setting as gorgeous as this, it’s easy to master the art of doing nothing.

Superior Room
Just steps from the swimming pool and tropical gardens, these rooms each feature a small private patio or terrace. You’ll love the outdoor bathtub and shower, as well as all the luxurious little extras – such as complimentary Wi-Fi, a beach bag and sandals.

Deluxe Room
Tucked away on the villas’ uppermost floors, these rooms offer lofty views of the gardens and pool. Up here, you can sip your morning Nespresso on the cosy wooden balcony, and enjoy oodles of natural light through the double-height windows.

Premier Pool Villa
These self-contained retreats offer the utmost privacy – ideal for honeymooners, or couples craving some peace and quiet. As well as a secluded plunge pool, there’s an outdoor Jacuzzi and shaded courtyard in each villa – plus a king size bed and sumptuous décor.

Ocean View Pool Villa
There are just four Ocean View Pool Villas – each with a private plunge pool and front-row vistas of the Andaman Sea. The interior design is spa-inspired (think warm woods and soft lighting), with lots of premium perks – such as Bose speakers and a Nespresso machine.

The Haven Suite
This palatial pad really lives up to its name: you’ll never want to tear yourself away from the secluded swimming pool, sun-kissed Jacuzzi and beautiful beachfront setting. You can even gaze out at the ocean from your plush king size bed: lie-ins have never been so spectacular.

There are only two restaurants in the resort – but oh, what restaurants they are. Both The Arundina and Di Mare set the bar for fine dining on Krabi, and offer exquisite menus to match their utterly spectacular setting. The former specialises in classic Thai dishes, as well as haute cuisine from all over the world – such as succulent steaks, freshly-caught seafood and tasty sharing platters. Its tables are dotted between trees and lily ponds, caressed by the soothing sea breeze. Di Mare, meanwhile, serves Italian favourites such as hand-made pasta and stonebaked pizza, with a wine list featuring some of the country’s top tipples.

Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Why we recommend The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

Situated beneath Hang Nak mountain on the Andaman Sea, this boutique resort is sheltered from the southwest monsoon winds by the large twin islands of Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi, creating a safe beach with calm waters all year round. Lie back in a beach hammock and feast your eyes on the pearl-white sand and gin-clear water – with a scattering of lush limestone islands on the horizon. For some seriously stylish wallowing, head to the lagoon-style swimming pool – or enjoy a long leisurely lunch overlooking the ocean. There are plenty of adventures to be found nearby too – such as mountain biking through the forest, sea kayaking, beach yoga and Thai cooking classes. It really is just as heavenly as it sounds.
