You’ll recognise The Library before you even set foot in it. The ruby-red swimming pool is an Instagram star, while the sumptuous suites and studios have graced the pages of travel magazines galore. This trend-setting hotel is convenient, too: it’s located on Chaweng Beach, just a short drive from the airport.
On the uppermost floor of the hotel, these contemporary lodgings overlook the gardens and ocean – yours to enjoy from the comfort of a private terrace. As well as a king size bed and luxurious bathroom, each retreat comes with lots of tech-savvy extras – such as an iMac, wireless headphones and mood lighting.
Feeling frazzled? This soothing suite is for you. It’s a haven of tranquil design and natural light – with rustic wooden shutters, a Jacuzzi tub, and a private terrace with daybed. The pillow menu and mood lighting will ease you in for a spectacular snooze.
The Bookmark is a work of art. From the huge contemporary artwork and scarlet chandeliers, to the black-marble Jacuzzi and full-size bar: this suite has wow-factor in spades. It’s brilliant, beautiful, and a little bit bonkers – and will set your Instagram alight.
Set in the resort’s glorious gardens, this two-bedroom beauty is designed for families and groups – with space for up to six guests. Its stylish living area opens out onto a private courtyard with a Jacuzzi bath and sunloungers – and the premium perks include two iMacs, Bose speakers and a walk-in wardrobe.
Two-Bedroom Secret Pool Villa
If we could move into one villa on Koh Samui, this would be it. As if its private swimming pool and two sumptuous bedrooms weren’t impressive enough, it also boasts a huge Jacuzzi bath, double rainfall shower, and the kind of Scandi-style design that looks like it’s been plucked from the pages of an interior design magazine. And don’t even get us started on the custom-built beds, which are a whopping 11ft wide...

Every day starts with breakfast at The Page: a sleek, stylish restaurant overlooking the ocean. Grab a set on the terrace, and you can dine just steps from the waves – but if that’s not close enough, there are ‘beach mattresses’ on the sand, complete with pillows and blankets. Your lie-in has never looked better. The menu of Thai and international dishes is sublime, featuring fresh ingredients and favourite flavours – such as green curry, noodles, and grilled steak and seafood. Look out for the other unique dining experiences too, such as ‘Tea on the Beach’ (afternoon tea with a twist) and starlit suppers on the sand.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Why we recommend The Library
This isn’t your average hotel – but you didn’t want an average holiday, did you? The Library has just a handful of rooms and villas, each of them a riot of contemporary art, cutting-edge design, and quirky colours. The gardens are gorgeous and the seafront is divine, but the real star of the resort (high praise indeed) is the famous Red Pool. It’s a stunner, with scarlet tiles sparkling in the sunshine – a striking contrast with the white sands and sapphire-hued ocean. Children are welcome (and the villas have plenty of room for them), but the hotel is more of a grown-ups’ retreat than a vibrant beach resort: think artisan cocktails rather than kids’ clubs. When you’re not wallowing in the pool or lazing on the beach, curl up with a great book in The Lib (there are over 1,400 tomes to choose from), or shape up in the state-of-the-art gym.
