Bandara Resort & Spa
Set between fishing villages and crowd-free beaches, Bandara Resort & Spa feels like Koh Samui’s best-kept secret. There are four swimming pools – including one for kids, and one overlooking the ocean – and a clutch of stylish rooms and suites ensconced in tropical gardens. Each residence has a private terrace, so you can soak up the sun in seclusion. Our Travel Consultants love that the resort has a strong eco-friendly ethos, aiming to recycle and reduce waste wherever possible – and even introduce children to conservation through fun wildlife-themed activities in the kids club. Craving some R&R? Head to Shine Spa for decadent massages and revitalising facials – while there’s a nail bar and salon too.
This retreat has everything you need for an unforgettable break – including a private terrace, modern bathroom and king size bed (or two doubles). Most rooms are up on the second floor, giving you lofty views of the resort and gardens.
Deluxe Tropical Room
Throw open your balcony doors in the morning, and you’ll be greeted with birdsong and tropical treetop views. With high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, the interior design makes the most of all that natural light – and there’s a gorgeous canopied king size bed to snooze in.
Plunge Pool Villa
Set amid the lush gardens, each of these residences boasts its own private plunge pool – so you can soak up the sun without being overlooked. The interiors are swoon-worthy too – with a deep-soak tub, king size bed, and a sumptuous sofa to stretch out on.
Travelling with the kids? This one’s for you. The little ones will love having their own bunk beds, sofa and sitting area – while you’ll enjoy the separate master bedroom, double bathroom and sleek minimalist design. The main pool and children’s pool are just a few steps away.
Pool Villa Suite
Say hello to your very own private pool: set in a sun-kissed garden, just steps from your king size bed. In the bathroom, the double tub is pretty glorious too – while the master bedroom boasts a king size bed, minibar, and comfortable sofa.

Take a seat on the ocean-facing terrace of Chom Dao Beach Restaurant and settle in for a feast of local and international cuisine. With the sea breeze in your hair and the sand just a few steps away, it’s a spectacular setting for supper: think freshly-caught fish, fragrant coconut curries, Mediterranean favourites and much more. At breakfast, you’ll be spoiled for choice too – with tropical fruits, just-baked pastries, and eggs with all the trimmings you could wish for.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Head to the Monkey Club for oodles of family fun: designed for tots aged four to 12, it’s a haven of painting, playtime, reading and crafts – with vibrant wildlife-inspired décor. Many of the activities are designed to teach kids about Koh Samui’s ecosystems and animals, sparking their curiosity through storytelling, drawing, and the club’s monkey mascot. It’s open from 10am until 6pm, and babysitting services are available in the evening. There is also a children’s pool, and all of the restaurants offer fresh kids’ menus.
