Fly from the UK to Delhi
Days 2-3
Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of modern India, made up of seven ancient cities spanning old and new. Once settled into your hotel, enjoy some free time exploring the sights of Old Delhi by rickshaw. Marvel at the dominating Red Fort, the enormous Jama Masjid, and the bustle of the bazaars. Later, embark on the fascinating Three Religions tour to learn more about the melting pot of religions here, and how they harmoniously coexist. The next day you’ll enjoy a food walk with a renowned chef, while later, you’ll be visiting the impressive Humayun’s Tomb in New Delhi.

Days 4-5
Jaipur
Head to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, the colourful capital of Rajasthan. Later, proceed for an evening Spice Market Walk through the colourful, bustling lanes of the bazaar, a delight for all the senses.
The next day, after breakfast, you’ll tour the exquisite Amber Fort. Later, see the city sights where highlights include the 18th-century Jantar Mantar, a collection of awe-inspiring astronomical measuring devices.

Days 6-7
Agra
Continue on to Agra, stopping off along the way at Abhaneri Step Well, one of India’s largest and deepest step wells. Tour the city sights of Agra and in the evening, enjoy a visit of the magical Mohabbat the Taj Show. The following morning, head to the magnificent Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece synonymous with true love. Then, visit the Agra Fort, A UNESCO World Heritage site and the most important fort in India.

Day 8
Gwalior
See the contrast of styles as you enter the modern city of Gwalior and admire its superb fortress, whose 8th-century walls enclose myriad palaces and temples. Within the walls, two palaces and numerous carved gates, decorated temples, pretty pavilions and sculpted monuments come together to create a fascinating piece of Rajput architecture, filled with historical significance.

Day 9
Khajuraho
Board your express train to Jhansi and transfer from there to Khajuraho, stopping off en route at Orcha for lunch en route. The next day, you’ll discover the detailed carvings of nymphs and gods in the erotic sandstone temples. In the evening, transfer to the airport and board your flight to Varanasi.

Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi and witness a magical Aarti Ceremony, a spiritual experience performed at sunset on the banks of the Ganges. The next morning, take a relaxing boat cruise on the river, taking in the sights and sounds of the Ganges along the way. Then, you’ll get a tour of Varanasi city, followed by a visit to the Sarnath and its incredible museum, housing a wealth of sculptures and carvings from a collection of ancient Indian artists.

Delhi
At the end of your journey, refresh your mind and body with an early-morning yoga session on the Ghats of the Ganges River, before boarding your flight back to Delhi for one last night in this bustling city.
