The Just Kids’! club at Evason Hua Hin has its own swimming pool, so little ones can enjoy a splash in the shade – as well as storytelling, treasure hunts and crafty capers. The programme changes regularly, and even includes a few locally-inspired activities – such as Muay Thai and eco tours. Other favourites include flower making, sand castle competitions and model making. You can join your little ones for games and activities free of charge, or leave them in the capable hands of the staff – and babysitting services are available too.
Delve into Thailand’s vibrant and varied cuisine at Kieng Sah: overlooking the serene lotus pond, it serves everything from street food favourites to opulent dishes and cocktails. At The Restaurant, meanwhile, you’ll find dishes from all over the region – as well as a few familiar flavours of home. For sun-kissed tipples and snacks, head to The Bar: its sea-view terrace is set right on the golden sands. Love your wines? The Cellar Bar offers a huge range of Old and New World vintages, and is our Travel Consultants’ top spot for a pre-dinner toast. Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance. Why we recommend Evason Hua Hin
Situated on the seafront, Evason Hua Hin is the epitome of barefoot luxury – with beautiful rooms and suites overlooking the resort’s gardens and the glittering Gulf of Thailand. There is no beach here, but the complimentary shuttle bus will whisk you to the golden sands of Khao Kalok in just 10 minutes. In a setting as spectacular as this, you’ll quickly master the art of doing nothing: relax with a Thai massage at the Six Senses Spa, release tension with a reiki session, or simply stretch out beside the infinity pool. As you might expect, the food here is absolutely fantastic – and in addition to dining in four wonderful restaurants you can learn how to make local delicacies in hands-on cooking classes. Our top tip for date night? Book a babysitter and head to Kieng Sah, for some seriously tasty Thai cuisine.
