Fuss-free family holidays have never been so spectacular. Set on the white sands of Kaanapali Beach, this resort combines epic natural landscapes with all the amenities you could possibly wish for: four fantastic restaurants, a great kids’ club, stunning sea-view suites – and much more.
Golf Mountain View King
With views of the West Maui Mountains and Ka’anapali Golf Course, this kingsize abode showcases some of Hawaii’s glorious scenery. You’ll want to soak it all up from your private terrace, before sinking into the oh-so comfortable Hyatt Grand Bed.
Partial Ocean King
Love a spectacular sundowner cocktail? You’ve picked the right suite. The views of the resort’s gardens and ocean go perfectly with fruity mai tai (trust us, we’ve tried it) – and they’re not bad with your morning coffee either. With a kingsize bed and sofa pull-out, there’s room for up to four guests.
Club Partial Ocean King
Upgrade to a Regency Club room, and you’ll enjoy a complimentary breakfast in exclusive lounge – plus light bites and refreshments throughout the day. With its sensational views and sumptuous interiors, this suite has everything you need for an incredible break.
Whip open the curtains of this not-so humble abode, and you’ll be greeted with perfect Pacific vistas: glittering waves as far as the eye can see, with the beach laid out at your feet. Tear yourself away from that view, and you’ll discover a kingsize bed, deluxe bathroom, and a cosy living area too.
With three private terraces to relax on, this suite puts Hawaii’s natural beauty centre stage. Travelling in a large family or group? There’s space for up to eight guests, with a huge dining table and living area to relax in. And with Regency Club access, the complimentary concierge service can help everyone plan their perfect day.

There’s oodles of family fun to be had in the resort: from the Camp Hyatt kids’ club (for ages five to 12) to the six lagoon-style swimming pools. Little adventurers will love the wildlife interactions – with opportunities to meet the resort’s penguins, feed the koi fish, and learn all about the critters that call Hawaii home. Activities and events change with the seasons, but expect plenty of child-friendly workshops and experiences – such as lei (garland) weaving, bracelet-making, and hula dance lessons. Babysitting and children’s menus are available on request.
The Keiki Lagoon children’s pool features a sandy beach play area, waterslides and leaping fountains, while younger guests aged five to 12 will be treated like mini VIPS at Camp Hyatt.
We love a little entertainment while we dine, and Drums of the Pacific Lu'au is one of the best resort shows we’ve ever seen – with traditional dancing and drumming from across Hawaii and the Polynesian islands. All colourful headdresses, blazing torches and hypnotic beats, this is one spectacular cultural immersion – and the local-style buffet is top-notch too. This is just one of the four fabulous restaurants within the resort, in addition to the more relaxed cafés and beach bars.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.

Why we recommend Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa
Every inch of this beautiful beachside resort is designed for all-out family fun – from the half-acre swimming pool with a whopping water slide and rope bridge, to the complimentary programme of fun-filled cultural activities. You can hire stand-up paddleboards, take a tennis lesson (there are six courts), or simply relax with indulgent treatments and soothing sea views in the spectacular oceanfront Kamaha’o Spa. Our experts love how this resort goes the extra mile to make holidays extra special: as well as having six pools and the glorious Ka'aanapali Beach to discover, you can meet the seven resident penguins, tee off on the two superb golf courses, or take a rooftop astronomy tour of the night sky. Wherever you venture, Hawaii’s incredible natural landscapes steal the show: each room and suite boasts a private terrace – many with views of the sea or West Maui Mountains. So relax, sip a cocktail from a fresh pineapple (yes you can!), and toast your adventures in paradise...
