Junior Suite

On the upper floor of the resort, these lavish lodgings feature kingsize beds, spacious lounge areas, and fabulous freestanding bathtubs. Up here, the tropical gardens look even more lovely: what better setting for breakfast? It’s hand-delivered to your suite every morning, so you can start the day in style.

Bravo to chef Gary Rhodes for establishing his Rhodes Restaurant in such a sensational setting – and combining fresh Caribbean flavours with cuisine from all over the globe. The lobster macaroni is the stuff of foodie dreams, and we could feast forever on the parmesan-crusted chicken and juicy shrimp skewers. Fancy a lighter bite? The Beach Club has long, leisurely lunches down to a tee.

Why we recommend Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa

We’ve fallen for Calabash’s sensational seaside setting and decadent dining – and we think you will too. Chef Gary Rhodes has created an eponymous restaurant in this very spot – a feast of island flavours, fresh from a world-class kitchen. The resort’s 30 suites are set in eight acres of tropical gardens, each with walk-in wardrobes, premium toiletries, and breakfast served on your balcony every morning. While families are welcome, there is no kids’ club – and the activities on offer are aimed at adults rather than tots. You can learn to scuba dive, play tennis on two full-size courts, or explore the ocean in kayaks and sailing boats. Afterwards, retreat to The Spa at Calabash – set high on the hill overlooking the bay – and unwind with a hot stone massage.
