Why we recommend Kingfisher Bay Resort

While the best way to experience the world’s largest sand island is to spend at least one night at Kingfisher Bay Resort, with its rainforest surrounds and plethora of island adventures, you’ll definitely want to linger longer. Bring your own 4WD and choose your own route around the island or, if you prefer to take it easy, we recommend signing up for the guided canoe paddle. You could see rays, turtles, dolphins and even dugongs on this gentle, child-friendly tour. After all that excitement, order a G&T from the Sunset Bar, sit back, and watch the sun drop behind the horizon.
