The only blues you’ll get at this fabulous resort are the Caribbean kind: those glittering sea views, cloudless skies, and the turquoise depths of one of the country’s biggest lagoon-style swimming pools. Throw in an amazing array of restaurants, activities, kids’ clubs and accommodation, and you have the recipe for an unforgettable break.
Deluxe Room with Tropical View
The resort’s gorgeous gardens take centre stage in these stylish rooms: from your private balcony’s sitting area, you can gaze out over swaying palms and blooming bougainvillea. The kingsize bed and pullout sofa make this room a great choice for couples with a child, or duos seeking seclusion.
Deluxe Swim-Out Room
Calling all water babies! You can step straight from this room’s private patio into the cool swimming pool – or simply soak up the views from your sunlounger. With an al fresco dining area, vanity area and sumptuous kingsize bed, you’ll have everything you need for a truly relaxing getaway.
Preferred Club Deluxe Room with Tropical or Pool View
Membership to the Preferred Club grants you a whole host of fabulous extras: an upgraded minibar, premium toiletries, and Club Lounge access to name but a few. Coupled with the Deluxe Room amenities (which include a private balcony, kingsize bed and garden views), this is a match made in holiday heaven.
Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite Tropical or Pool View and Jacuzzi
We’ve fallen head over heels for this suite, with its beautiful big balcony, luxurious living area, and al fresco whirlpool – not to mention the deluxe double bathroom and whopping kingsize bed. All this, plus the perks of Preferred Club membership, make for a sweet suite indeed.

From beach games and treasure hunts, to sandcastle contests and a climbing wall, the Explorers’ Club (for children aged three to 12) offers a huge range of activities – and we can’t get enough of the pirate ship water slide. Better yet, it’s open from 9am until 10pm, so you can enjoy a romantic dinner while the little ones play. The Core Zone Teens Club (open until midnight) will keep older kids entertained with discos, beach parties, and a huge range of sports and games – giving them plenty of opportunity to blow off steam and make new friends.
We love that there’s no need to reserve a table at any of the resort’s restaurants: with the all-inclusive programme you can dine wherever you like, whenever you like, and order whatever you fancy. From poolside light bites to indulgent five-course affairs, there’s a menu to suit every palate and occasion – plus plenty of choice for little ones too.

Why we recommend Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa
Renowned for its generous all-inclusive programme, Dreams Puna Cana is fantastic for fuss-free family holidays. From your top-shelf rum cocktails and sizzling steak dinner, to the kids’ clubs and huge array of activities, everything is included – so you can just relax and enjoy yourself. We really rate the beach-side setting: those super-soft sands are just steps from the hotel’s beautiful gardens and huge swimming pool (it’s one of the DR’s biggest). It’s easy to fall into the relaxing rhythm of island life here: wake up to a hearty breakfast, hit the beach, and then take your pick from the huge range of activities: a game of beach volleyball perhaps, or an introductory scuba session in the pool – all included, of course.
