Your Example Itinerary
Fly from the UK to Split
Spend the morning exploring the golden-roofed towns and pristine national parks of Trogir, which is set within medieval walls on a tiny island. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Roman city of Split, set within white stone walls overlooking the azure Adriatic Ocean. Perhaps climb the belltower at St Duje’s Cathedral for panoramic views of the town, or stroll around the bustling Green Market.
Krka National Park
Make sure your camera is charged for a morning of seeking out waterfalls and strolling through forests in Krka National Park. After working up an appetite, head to the renowned BIBICh Winery for an afternoon of tapas and wine-tasting.
Set sail on a ferry from Split to Korcula, your home for the next two nights. Renowned for its pristine beaches, medieval town and lush forest, the sixth-largest Adriatic Island is one of the most treasured in Croatia. Explore the old town with your guide, discover the picturesque bays and beaches which stretch along the north coast, and seek out your favourite bar serving Korcula’s famous Grk wine. Marvel at St Mark’s Cathedral, peruse the authentic shops and wander through the marble alleyways, home to a plethora of seafood restaurants.
Hop back on the boat and sail to Peljesac Peninsula, famous for its wine-making. Tour a local winery, before spending the night in Montenegro. Here, you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed town of Kotor, before enjoying dinner overlooking the bay.
Dubrovnik and Elaphite Islands
Sail to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, where you’ll discover the Byzantine-style church, before heading back to dry land and continuing to Dubrovnik. Your guide will take you on a tour of the old town, where Game of Thrones is set, before a cable car ride to the top of Mount Srd to catch the sunset. On your final day, you’ll sail to the islands of Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud in the Elaphite archipelago. Spend time exploring the peaceful bays, before a farewell lunch of grilled fish and Dalmatian wine.
