Set on the sugar-white sands of Sanur Beach, this idyllic resort is home to a clutch of unique Balinese-style rooms and bungalows – with three swimming pools, excellent restaurants, and a glorious spa. For spectacular sundowners, Byrdhouse Beach Club is the spot.
Opt for a ground-floor Deluxe Room, and you can step straight from your private patio into the tropical gardens. Prefer a more private setting? The second-floor lodgings offer loftier views from their secluded balconies. Either way, you’ll enjoy a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom with rain shower.
With their hand-carved hardwood furniture, tribal patterns and top-quality linens, these stylish rooms combine island chic with all the mod cons you could wish for. The deep-soak bathtub is a delight, and you’ll have your own private garden space too.
The Segara @ Village 2
Our Travel Consultants recommend these suites for honeymoons and romantic holidays: what could be more luxurious than having your own private pool, as well as the beach on your doorstep? The premium perks don’t stop there: each suite has a daybed on its sun-kissed terrace – plus bathrobes, designer toiletries, and state-of-the-art entertainment system.
Family Bungalow Room
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this retreat is more of a villa than a bungalow – with oodles of room for small families. While the kids play in the frangipani garden and open-plan living room, you can relax in the deep-soak tub.

While there is no kids’ club, the resort does offer a playground in its gardens, as well as a swimming pool for little ones. Interconnecting rooms are available on request, and the restaurants offer children’s menus.
At breakfast, make a beeline for Amuse Gueule: this cute little café is set right on Sanur’s beach boardwalk, so you can tuck into smoothies, sandwiches and pastries while watching the world go by. For more decadent dining, Le Pirate offers Balinese specialities beside the shimmering pool – while Minami serves authentic Japanese bites. While all of its spices and sauces (even the salt!) are imported from Japan, Minami’s chefs use only locally-sourced produce – so you know that your sushi and sashimi are super fresh.
Ask our Flight Centre Concierge team about booking your restaurants in advance.
LIST OF RESTAURANTS:

Why we recommend Segara Village Hotel
If you love having lots of space to stretch out in, Segara Village is for you: its roomy bungalows are stylish and great-value, and some even have their own plunge pools. In the resort’s main area, the deluxe lodgings overlook lush tropical gardens – while in ‘Segara @ Village 2’ there’s an exclusive courtyard and direct beach access. Wherever you choose, you know you’re in for a treat: this family-run resort has won awards for its excellent amenities and warm welcome. You can relax on the sandy beach, explore Sanur’s shops and restaurants, or simply laze by the three swimming pools – two for adults, and one for kids. There’s even a Jacuzzi bar, where you can sip ice-cold beers while wallowing in the whirlpool. For more holistic pleasures, head to the spa: a naturally-inspired haven of massages, facials and wraps, set in a soothing garden-view pavilion. For evening entertainment, our Travel Consultants recommend the Byrdhouse Beach Club – for food festivals, jazz performances by the ocean, and even an open-air cinema.
