Your Example Itinerary
Fly from London to Brisbane
Arrive into the buzzy city of Brisbane – one of Australia’s largest cities and the capital of Queensland – and get ready to explore. Get your arts and culture fix at one of the many galleries including the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, before taking a wander along the Brisbane River. Don’t miss the city’s South Bank area, with its public lawns, pretty gardens and public swimming, not to mention the impressive Story Bridge. Nature lover? Visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to get up close and personal with Australia’s native mammal. See the best of the city with your included Eat Street market tour where you’ll get the chance to experience a diverse array of international cuisines and boutique beers.
Catch your flight to Sydney where the next stage of your adventure begins. Check out the historic Rocks district and enjoy breathtaking views across the harbour, taking in iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. And you can’t go to Sydney without visiting some of its famous beaches, like Bondi and Manly. For hikers, the Spit to Manly trail will treat you to spectacular scenery. On your last night in the city, enjoy a three-course a la carte meal dining aboard the MV Sydney 2000, complete with million-dollar sunset and night-time views of the city.
4.5* Parkroyal Darling Harbour Sydney
Fly to Canberra, Australia’s capital. The city itself is centred around the impressive Parliament House; visit for an insight into the country’s history and politics, and be sure to admire the vista from Capital View. Take a stroll around the scenic Lake Burley Griffin or get your culture fix at the National Museum of Australia. But our favourite way to see the city? Via hot-air balloon of course. Witness Canberra’s vast lakes, parks and colourful tree-lined streets from above, as well as the surrounding bush land and mountains.
4* Pacific Suites Canberra
Touch down in the lively city of Melbourne for the last leg of your trip. Get your bearings with a Melbourne city tour with Lanes & Arcades, where you’ll travel by coach past iconic sites including Parliament House, Melbourne University and Lygon Street. You also discover Melbourne’s most famous arcades – Royal Arcade, Block Arcade, Centre Place and Degraves Street – on foot. During your time here, be sure to check out the incredible street art dotted around the city centre, as well as its delicious coffee. There’s a reason it’s world renowned. You could also wander the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens, or head to the beaches of St Kilda.
4* Punthill Little Bourke
Depart Melbourne and fly back to London.
