Days 1-2
Fly from the UK to Buenos Aires and meet the rest of your group at your hotel.
Day 3
Buenos Aires
Explore Buenos Aires with an expert local guide on a full-day tour starting at Plaza de Mayo. Discover the oldest neighbourhood of San Telmo and the colourful La Boca, where you'll visit Caminito Street for a taste of the vibrant community. Get hands-on experience making traditional empanadas at an NGO for lunch, followed by the sweet treat of alfajores. The tour continues towards Retiro and Recoleta, where you'll learn about the families who built a small-scale Paris in Buenos Aires and see ornate mausoleums at one of the world's most famous cemeteries. Enjoy your evening as you wish.
Days 4-5
Iguazu Falls
Head to the northeast corner of Argentina and fly to Puerto Iguazu, where the magnificent Iguazu Falls spans the border between Argentina and Brazil. Witness the awe-inspiring waterfalls that are higher than Niagara Falls and wider than Victoria Falls. Cross the border to Brazil for panoramic views of the thundering falls and opt for a helicopter ride over the top for an even more spectacular experience.
The next day, you'll experience the ultimate Iguazu Falls adventure with a visit to the Argentinian side. Get up close to the falls via a series of boardwalks while learning about the Guarani legend of how the serpent god M’Boy created the falls. For an exhilarating experience, opt for a Zodiac boat ride to the base of the falls. In the afternoon, visit a Guarani community with your leader and meet some of the region's remaining indigenous people. Learn about their traditions and way of life on the edge of one of the world's most popular attractions. After a day of adventure, return to your hotel on the Brazilian side of the falls.

Days 6-7
Rio de Janeiro
After a morning flight to Rio de Janeiro, spend the day in this beautiful city passing the time as you wish. Perhaps hit the sun-kissed beaches of Ipanema or Copacabana for a spot a relaxation, take in a football game or ride the cable car to Sugarloaf Mountain. The next day you’ll enjoy a full day guided tour of the city, the Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado Mountain, the galleries and restaurants of Santa Teresa and the famous Selaron Steps.
Days 8-9
Depart Rio de Janeiro and return to the UK.
